The Vietnam Women Veterans includes more than 1,000 women.  Please visit our Sister Search page.  If you see your name or know someone who is listed, contact the VWV.  If you are a military female who served in Vietnam and were not a nurse, and your name does not appear on the list, please contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the criteria I must meet to attend the reunion?

Reunions are for female enlisted, or staff or line officers who served in Vietnam (in-country) from 1965 to 1975 inclusive.

Since all women were sent out of Vietnam in 1973, why is 1975 included in the dates?

To include those women who were part of Operation Babylift and served in-country during the operation.

If I was TDY in Vietnam, am I included?

Yes, if you actually served in-country. Just passing through does not meet the criteria.

Can nurses attend reunions?

Nurses who served in Vietnam are welcome to join us at our reunions.

What about civilians?

Civilians who served in Vietnam are also welcome at our reunions.

What armed services is the reunion for?

All enlisted women, and staff and line officers of the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy.

What about Vietnam-era veterans?

Reunions are for those who served in-country.

What if I served in Southeast Asia in support of the Vietnam War?

The reunion is a gathering of women who served together in Vietnam. You must have served in-country.
